FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1.

Can non-students come on our trips?

Yes, but priority is given to students first.

2.

I slept in and missed the bus / I forgot I had work on Sunday / I messaged you guys Saturday night that I can’t make it anymore: Can I get a refund?

No, refunds are issued for valid reasons judged by us. Slept in: LOL Goodluck being on time for your exams.

3.

Do you offer gear rentals?

Not directly through our club. Kunstadt sports (Ottawa) offers rentals at a great price. Or you can visit Tremblant’s website to fill out a form to have rentals ready for you when you arrive.

4.

I think that your prices are expensive.

Average car ride gas price: $50; full cost lift ticket at Tremblant: $129 +tax. Goodluck beating our prices.

5.

I want to drive up with my friends and buy lift tickets from the club.

Awesome! Message us to confirm and pay. Then you have to meet us in the lodge to pick them up (Time and location posted in the schedule above, Don’t be late! We will not be waiting there all day.)

6.

I don’t want to shred Tremblant, I’m more of a local person. What are my options?

You can post ride shares in our group or post in the group that you are looking to go somewhere. Lots of our members link up and ride local hills together all season long. On special occasions, we may run a bus to one of the local hills.

7.

I’m coming alone on the trip, but I don’t want to ride alone. What should I do?

Ask people on the bus ride up, or in the lodge while we get ready! Everybody is really friendly and our club is a great place to make friends that love skiing/snowboarding just like you!

8.

Why do you stop at McDonald's/corner store?

Our goal is to keep things affordable for students, these stops are the cheapest option compared to expensive food/drink options at Tremblant. The morning stop also lets you load up on supplies for the day.

9.

What can I bring on the bus?

Most people bring their skis/snowboard, one gear bag, and a small carry-on backpack for the bus ride. You can also bring a change of clothes to be more comfortable on the bus.

I lost something on the bus, what should I do?

You can post in the group about it, or message us. A full sweep of the bus is done after every trip and many items are recovered.

10.

Message us for any comments/concerns/questions or if you are interested in being an exec.

This group is run by students who are very busy and stressed just like you. We do our absolute best to accommodate everyone and answer messages quickly. Please be patient ♥
